Murray Meds inks supply deal with Releaf Dispensaries

ECS Botanics subsidiary Murray Meds has signed a deal with Melbourne-based Releaf Dispensaries to supply the group with its dried cannabis flower.

ECS food and wellness products are already stocked in Releaf’s St Kilda dispensary.

The deal is expected to generate around A$590,000 in revenue for ECS over its 18-month term, with the option to renew if agreed by both parties. ECS managing director Alex Keach said: “THC flower is in high demand… the accelerating rollout of Releaf’s medicinal cannabis clinics and dispensaries across Australia is also making access easier for patients and driving demand.

“We are pleased to see a shift from Canadian imported material to our Australian grown product.”

Releaf Group CEO Gary Mackenzie added: “The partnership with ECS, specifically Murray Meds provides patients in need of access to a sustained supply of GMP-certified, high-quality medical cannabis and is an important step in improving patient access to local Australian products.”
