Just the beginning; ECS Botanics growing its cannabis market
ECS Botanics Holdings has secured a one year, rolling supply agreement with Australian cannabis company, Canngea. ECS Botanics Managing Director, Alex Keach, says he’s pleased Canngea sees value in its product and he’s looking to building on the agreement. Alex says the deal reinforces the company’s commitment to the growing medicinal cannabis market in Australia and ECS’ B2B business model. He also says the company has more supply agreements in the pipeline. This agreement follows a supply arrangement for its foods division with ECS Botanics set to sell its Extra Virgin Tasmanian Hemp Seed Oil product in Coles stores nationwide. The product will be stocked in a number of Coles’ 2500 stores from October. Alex says the hemp seed oil product can be used in cooking, salads, smoothies and baking. He says hemp seed oil is becoming more popular due to its environmental source of Omega 3 and its anti-inflammatory properties.
